PAM JAYA Ready to Assist During Water Supply Disruptions

PAM JAYA has announced that scheduled PLN electrical work will temporarily affect operations at the Pulogadung Water Treatment Plant (IPA) in East Jakarta. The maintenance will halt production at the plant, which has a capacity of 4,500 liters per second, for four hours from Friday, October 31, 2025, at 22:00 WIB until Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 02:00 WIB. Following completion of the PLN work, the Pulogadung plant will gradually resume normal operations within an hour, with full water supply to customers expected to stabilize within 48 hours. During this period, 311,528 PAM JAYA customers across 53 subdistricts in Central, East, and North Jakarta will experience supply interruptions, prompting residents to store water in advance as a precaution.

PAM JAYA’s President Director, Arief Nasrudin, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable piped water service. To mitigate disruptions, PAM JAYA is providing free water tanker services for household customers and emergency facilities such as hospitals, places of worship, and social foundations. These services can be accessed via PAM JAYA’s contact center at 1500-223. Arief noted that these measures reflect the company’s preparedness to maintain continuity and service quality during operational disruptions.

He further explained that all projects impacting customers are carefully managed, coordinated, and executed to ensure dependable water supply. The company continuously coordinates with various stakeholders to maintain stability and reliability across Jakarta’s water distribution system. PAM JAYA also plans to open its Business Area offices on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 08:00 to 17:00 WIB to provide additional in-person support and information. Locations include AB Senen, AB Klender, AB Pulomas, AB Gudang Air, AB Kelapa Gading, AB Dewa Ruci, AB Yos Sudarso, and AB Sunter.

Through these coordinated measures and field preparedness, PAM JAYA seeks to uphold its ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable, and sustainable piped water services for Jakarta residents. The company reassures customers that every step has been taken to manage service disruptions effectively while maintaining high standards of public service. These efforts underscore PAM JAYA’s proactive approach to operational planning and its dedication to supporting the community during temporary interruptions.
