The Indonesia International Transport Summit (IITS) 2025 will take place on 26–27 November at The Tribrata Hotel & Convention Center Jakarta, serving as a global platform for government, industry, and stakeholders to discuss the future of intelligent transport, particularly in the Global South. Around 500 participants from multiple countries, including 12 ITS Asia Pacific members, will join panels, exhibitions, and stakeholder discussions aimed at fostering collaboration, investment, and practical solutions for urban mobility challenges. The summit highlights Indonesia’s growing role in the global ITS ecosystem and its ambition to host the ITS World Congress in 2032.
Organizers aim to showcase achievements in smart transport integration, transit-oriented development, and public transport electrification, targeting 10,000 electric buses in Jakarta by 2030. The event emphasizes knowledge sharing, collaboration across borders, and adoption of advanced technologies to accelerate sustainable urban mobility. Government support from DKI Jakarta ensures alignment with the city’s vision as a global hub, reinforcing the strategic importance of the summit.
The forum also provides a venue for exchanging best practices with advanced countries like Singapore and Korea, aiming to strengthen Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem and accelerate the modernization of its transport systems. By combining infrastructure readiness, technology deployment, and international cooperation, IITS 2025 positions Indonesia as a leader in intelligent transport solutions across the Global South.
