Residents of Tidung Island Urban Village expressed deep gratitude after receiving basic food assistance from The Antheia Project CEO, Ruhani Nitiyudo, in collaboration with South Seribu Islands authorities. Many described the help as meaningful relief during difficult economic conditions affecting daily life. Items provided included rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, and other staples that directly supported household needs. The distribution created a visible sense of joy and appreciation among the beneficiaries.
South Seribu Islands City Council Member, Munawar Salagau emphasized that the aid was directed toward low-income families, orphans, and the elderly. He noted that the program covered not only Tidung Island but also Pari Island, Lancang Island, and Untung Jawa Island. The Antheia Project sent 181 food packages to Tidung Island, followed by 100 packages distributed across Pari and Lancang, and 82 to Untung Jawa. Local authorities praised the initiative for responding directly to community needs rather than only symbolic support.
Tidung Island Urban Village Secretary, Ari Prianto highlighted that residents experienced noticeable emotional and financial relief from the aid effort. He expressed hope that similar programs could become routine rather than occasional gestures. The consistency of support, he said, would help vulnerable groups maintain basic nutrition and dignity. According to him, the long-term impact of continued partnerships could be significantly greater than one-time donations.
The Antheia Project’s distribution ran smoothly under direct leadership and on-the-ground supervision. Officials framed the initiative as an example of effective collaboration between private institutions and local governments in reducing economic pressure on citizens. The momentum behind this social responsibility program may encourage similar community-focused interventions across the Seribu Islands. Ultimately, the success of this effort reinforces that practical, tangible aid remains one of the most effective ways to build public trust and support well-being.
