Regional-owned enterprise Perumda Dharma Jaya has reaffirmed its social commitment by participating in a home renovation program initiated by Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta. The initiative culminated in a symbolic handover of house keys by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung in the Serdang area of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The program is part of broader efforts to improve housing conditions for residents in need. It reflects collaboration between public institutions and local enterprises to address social welfare issues.
President Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya, Raditya Endra Budiman, stated that the company’s involvement in the program is part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives since 2025. He emphasized that supporting housing renovation aligns with the company’s mission to contribute to Jakarta’s development beyond its core role in food security. According to him, providing decent housing is essential for improving public welfare. The company remains committed to supporting similar initiatives in the future.
Budiman added that the renovation of two housing units under the program represents the company’s tangible contribution to improving residents’ living conditions. He noted that synergy between regional-owned enterprises and public institutions plays a crucial role in addressing urban housing challenges. Through such collaboration, the government and its partners can accelerate efforts to provide livable housing for underserved communities. This partnership is seen as a key instrument in improving settlement conditions across the city.
In total, 26 renovated houses were handed over to beneficiaries across Jakarta, including 10 units in Central Jakarta, 2 in West Jakarta, 11 in South Jakarta, 1 in North Jakarta, and 2 in East Jakarta. The event was attended by officials from the Jakarta provincial government as well as leaders of Baznas Bazis. The program aims to enhance residents’ quality of life by ensuring access to safe, healthy, and decent housing. It also underscores the importance of cross-sector collaboration in delivering sustainable social impact.
