A total of 24 residents utilized the Saturday Population Administration Service program at the Civil Registration Service Unit in Pesanggrahan Subdistrict, South Jakarta. Acting Head of the unit, Wahyuni, explained that the initiative is a routine agenda held on the third Saturday of each month. She noted that the service is designed to accommodate residents who are unable to process documents on weekdays. The program reflects the government’s effort to expand access to essential administrative services.
Wahyuni detailed that the service, operating from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., handled a range of population administration needs. These included five electronic ID registrations, six ID printings, and four Child Identity Card issuances. Additional services covered consultations, family card printing, and Digital Population Identity registrations. The variety of services indicates a comprehensive approach to meeting community administrative demands.
She emphasized that the program is committed to delivering fast, accessible, and responsive services tailored to public needs. Wahyuni also encouraged residents who lack complete documentation to promptly process their administrative requirements. According to her, proper documentation is essential for accessing various government programs. This appeal highlights the broader importance of civil registration in public service delivery.
One resident, Zefri Julianto, expressed appreciation for the program’s convenience and efficiency. He stated that the service allowed him to handle his documents without disrupting his weekday work. Zefri noted that the quality of service remained consistent despite being offered on a weekend. His experience illustrates the tangible benefits of flexible public service initiatives for working citizens.
