Ancol Offers Free Admission for Three Days to Celebrate Jakarta’s Anniversary

President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Syahmudrian Lubis, announced a special free-admission program as part of celebrations for Jakarta’s 499th anniversary. Through the initiative, titled “Free Entry to Ancol All Day,” Jakarta residents will be able to access Ancol Taman Impian free of charge on June 22, 27, and 28, 2026. The program is intended as a gift to the public and reflects Ancol’s role as one of the capital’s most iconic public spaces. Syahmudrian said the goal is to allow more residents to create memorable moments with family and friends along Jakarta’s waterfront.

Under the program, holders of Jakarta identity cards (KTP) or child identity cards (KIA) can enter the Ancol recreation area free of charge from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. However, the offer applies only to admission into the Ancol complex and does not include vehicle entry fees or access to individual attractions and recreational units. Visitors will need to reserve their free tickets in advance through Ancol’s official website. Ticket reservations will open on June 16, 2026, and must be completed no later than one day before the planned visit, subject to daily quotas.

In addition to the three-day free-entry event, Ancol is also running a separate “Free Afternoon Entry” program. This promotion allows all visitors, regardless of residency status, to enter the park free of charge after 4:00 p.m. from June 8 through June 19, 2026. The initiative is designed to broaden public access to recreational spaces and encourage more people to enjoy Ancol’s facilities during the anniversary celebrations. Management views the program as a way to share the festive spirit of Jakarta’s milestone with a wider audience.

Syahmudrian emphasized that the anniversary celebrations reflect Ancol’s commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable recreational opportunities for the public. He said the free-entry initiatives demonstrate collaboration between Ancol and the community in celebrating a city that continues to grow and modernize. By opening its doors to more residents, Ancol hopes to strengthen its role as a gathering place for people from all backgrounds. The company believes the programs will help make Jakarta’s 499th anniversary a more enjoyable and memorable occasion for the public.
