South Jakarta’s PPKD Commences Skills Development Program for First and Second Cohorts

The South Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) has officially launched the first and second batches of its regular job training program for 2026. The initiative is designed to improve workforce skills by equipping participants with competencies that match the needs of businesses and industry.

Head of PPKD South Jakarta, Budi Karlia Setiyanto, said the program provides not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that participants can immediately apply after completing the training. He expressed hope that trainees will complete the program with discipline to strengthen their competitiveness in the job market or support future entrepreneurship.

The first training batch includes Multimedia, Fashion Design, English, and Refrigeration Engineering courses, each lasting 360 instructional hours, while the Japanese language program runs for 540 instructional hours. These courses aim to prepare participants with technical and language skills that are in demand across various sectors.

The second batch offers Barista training with a duration of 240 instructional hours, along with Data Analyst and Data Management Staff courses lasting 360 instructional hours. The South Jakarta administration expects the program to contribute to developing a more skilled workforce that is better prepared to meet current industry demands.
