The Central Jakarta Subdistrict of Senen won the overall championship in the 10 PKK Programs and RPTRA Festival competition organized by the Central Jakarta Family Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK). Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin, presented the trophy to Subdistrict Head Prasetyo during the PKK Unity Day celebration at the Abdul Muis Technical Office building. He expressed gratitude to PKK administrators who have consistently collaborated with the city government. Arifin also encouraged cadres to continue empowering communities through the 10 PKK programs, which he said contribute to independence and welfare.
Chairperson of the Central Jakarta TP PKK, Witri Yenny, explained that the competition was held from June 2025, starting at the village level and advancing through subdistrict and city levels. She noted that the awards ceremony was part of the PKK Unity Day event, providing recognition to administrators who have worked hard across various initiatives. According to her, the event was a moment to celebrate community participation and strengthen the PKK network. She stressed that such recognition motivates cadres to further enhance their contributions to society.
Subdistrict Head of Senen, Prasetyo, expressed gratitude for the victory, attributing the success to teamwork. He highlighted that several villages under his leadership had won categories in both the 10 PKK Programs and the RPTRA Festival. He credited the achievements to collaboration between the subdistrict government, community components, PKK administrators at all levels, and RPTRA managers. Prasetyo emphasized that the awards would serve as inspiration for continued cooperation.
