The Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at the Jeddah Superdome, highlights Saudi Arabia’s efforts to advance the Hajj ecosystem and improve services for pilgrims worldwide. Serving as a premier platform, the event brings together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to share knowledge, practical experience, and innovative solutions in management and technology, all aimed at enhancing the pilgrim experience. This initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to boost operational, organizational, and technological efficiency in the Hajj system, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to a safe, well-organized, and high-performing pilgrimage environment.
Spanning 52,000 square meters, the exhibition features over 260 exhibitors across 13 sectors, including tourism, technology, healthcare, and operations, alongside 95 international speakers participating in 80 panel discussions and 60 workshops. Attendees will explore more than 100 innovative ideas designed to address future challenges and create new opportunities for Hajj and Umrah services. The Ministry will unveil initiatives such as “E’asha-thon” for personalized meal delivery, “Humanizing the Holy Sites” to improve visitor comfort, and “Sustainable Solutions” promoting clean energy and smart resource management. An Innovation Zone hosts 15 tech start-ups competing in challenges aimed at improving crowd management and operational efficiency using AI and data analytics.
Strategic agreements and partnerships will be signed to strengthen sector-wide collaboration, accelerate digital transformation, integrate systems, and enhance service quality at the holy sites. The conference focuses on three central themes: digital transformation, smart management, and operational sustainability, all crucial for developing a resilient, efficient, and technologically advanced Hajj system. These efforts are closely linked to Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, emphasizing technology to make pilgrimages safer, smoother, and more environmentally sustainable.
