The “Pasukan Kuning” team from the Sub-district Road Maintenance Unit (Satpel Bina Marga) in Cilincing has carried out road and curb repairs to improve safety and comfort for road users. Field Coordinator Syarifin stated that road repairs were conducted on Jalan Cenderawasih in Sukapura, while curb repairs took place on Jalan Akses Marunda in Semper Timur. The work was also a response to public complaints submitted through the JAKI application. These efforts aim to enhance road conditions while addressing community concerns in a timely manner.
Syarifin explained that repairs on Jalan Cenderawasih covered six damaged points with varying dimensions. The work involved seven personnel using supporting equipment and required at least 50 sacks of cold mix material. This targeted approach ensured that the most critical damaged sections were addressed efficiently. The repairs are expected to significantly improve driving conditions in the area.
Meanwhile, curb repairs along Jalan Akses Marunda were carried out over a 28-meter stretch. The damage was reportedly caused by heavy container trucks impacting the roadside structures. By restoring the curbs, authorities aim to prevent further deterioration and improve road safety. The initiative reflects ongoing maintenance efforts to support infrastructure resilience in busy transport routes.
Syarifin also urged residents to actively participate in maintaining public infrastructure by reporting damage early. Community involvement, he noted, plays a crucial role in ensuring faster response and repair actions. A local resident, Ella, expressed appreciation for the swift response, stating that the repaired roads have made travel safer and more comfortable. The improvements highlight the importance of collaboration between authorities and citizens in maintaining urban infrastructure.
