The Komisi Informasi DKI Jakarta stated that SMAN 25 Jakarta has strong potential to achieve the status of an informative public body if all required indicators are fully met. This assessment was delivered by Commissioner for Education, Socialization, and Advocacy, Ferid Nugroho, following the 2025 electronic Monitoring and Evaluation results. He noted that the school has shown significant progress in transparency efforts. However, further improvements are still needed in several areas.
Ferid emphasized the importance of mitigating potential information disputes within the school environment. He highlighted sensitive areas such as the use of School Operational Assistance funds and procurement processes. According to him, transparency must be implemented proportionally and in accordance with regulations. Not all information can be disclosed, as some categories are legally exempt.
He further explained that the management of the Public Information List and the Exempt Information List must align with policies set by the Jakarta Education Office as the main Information and Documentation Management Officer. Strengthening the role of the Information and Documentation Management Officer at the school level is considered a strategic step. He also encouraged immediate updates to information lists in preparation for the 2026 evaluation cycle. These updates should reflect current public information needs and include revisions to official decrees and available data categories.
Responding to these recommendations, the Head of SMAN 25 Jakarta, Triyem, expressed commitment to implementing the feedback. She described the input as constructive and valuable for institutional improvement. The school aims to enhance the quality of public information transparency moving forward. This effort is expected to support its goal of achieving the informative public body designation.
