Jakarta’s Dharma Jaya Sets Goal of 900 Cattle for Iduladha Supply

Perumda Dharma Jaya is targeting the provision of 900 sacrificial cattle to meet public demand in Jakarta ahead of the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration. The strategic initiative is aimed at ensuring the availability of livestock that meets Safe, Healthy, Intact, and Halal standards for residents of the capital.

President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman said every animal prepared for the program has undergone strict selection and health screening procedures. His organization stated that consumer safety remains the primary focus, with all cattle sourced from verified regions and required to pass quarantine as well as inspections conducted by the Jakarta Food Security, Maritime, and Agriculture Agency.

Raditya explained that the company has optimized the infrastructure of its slaughterhouse facility in Cakung, which already holds Veterinary Control Number (NKV) and halal certifications. The semi-mechanical slaughterhouse is capable of processing between 200 and 250 cattle per day during the peak Eid al-Adha period. To maintain service quality, Perumda Dharma Jaya has deployed around 100 professional personnel, including certified Halal Slaughterers and specialized packaging teams. The company believes the strengthening of operational capacity is essential to ensure efficient and hygienic meat processing for the community.

Beyond livestock supply, the regional enterprise is also offering comprehensive qurban meat management services that cover slaughtering, carcass separation, and customized kilogram-based packaging for easier public distribution.

Raditya said the integrated service system is designed to maintain hygiene standards throughout the entire process, from upstream livestock handling to downstream packaging and delivery. His organization also emphasized that waste management from slaughtering activities is being handled in accordance with existing environmental regulations. The initiative reflects growing public expectations for professional and environmentally responsible qurban services in urban areas.

The company further introduced a digital transparency system that provides updated information regarding cattle classifications, stock availability, and pricing for the public. Residents can monitor the latest data through the company’s official Instagram communication channel, Djawara Meat.

According to Raditya, the availability of 900 cattle is expected to provide reassurance for residents seeking reliable qurban services during Eid al-Adha. The program also highlights the increasing role of regional state-owned enterprises in supporting religious activities through standardized services and modern food management systems.
