The North Jakarta Food Security, Marine Affairs, and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency’s Mobile Veterinary Clinic has received an enthusiastic response from residents during its visit to RPTRA Rasela in Rawa Badak Selatan, Koja. The service provides affordable veterinary care, including health check-ups, consultations, vaccinations, sterilization, and treatment for common illnesses.
Resident Beni Rosalida Saragih said the service was very helpful after bringing his pet dog, which initially appeared to have an eye problem. Following an examination, the veterinarian also found a tick infestation and recommended further treatment. He said the medication was affordable and planned to return with another dog that required similar care.
Another resident, Gilang, brought his pet cat to the clinic after it lost its appetite for several days. He appreciated the convenient location, affordable fees, and opportunity to consult directly with a veterinarian, describing the service as valuable for pet owners in the area.
Head of the North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Novy Christine Palit, said the Mobile Veterinary Clinic rotates through all six districts in North Jakarta, with this week’s services focused on Koja and Penjaringan. Operating daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the clinic is staffed by a veterinarian and a veterinary paramedic. The agency also works with local authorities and uses social media to inform residents about the clinic’s schedule and locations.
